The island of Alonissos Sporades is mountainous north with plains at the south. The island and surrounding islets is still the home of wild goats 'Kri Kri' while in the south live cave seals. The capital is Patitiri, with many shops and restaurants.

In Alonissos you can see the picturesque old village, the beaches of Agios Dimitrios, Chrisi Milia, Kokinokastro. Also dont miss the National Marine Park where you have the opportunity to see dolphins, seals and turtles.

The average temperature in Alonissos range from 6 degrees Celsius (39F) in January to 26 degrees (79F) during July and August. The summer tourism is mainly from May to October with peak months in July and August.

In Alonissos you can arrive by plane at the airport to Skiathos and then by ferry from Skiathos or Volos.
