Also see the beautiful lakes Prespa with the variety of plants and animals that live in the area. Finally visit the picturesque village Nymphaeum and the lakeside town of traditional Amindeo.
The average temperatures in Western Macedonia range from 2 degrees Celsius (36F) in January to 24 degrees (75F) during July and August. Winter tourism runs mainly from October to March.
